FSO Consultores Partner since it’s foundation, Cláudia is responsible for the area of Indirect Taxation, specifically VAT, advising large national and multinational economic groups, both in the monitoring of current issues and in the framework of cross-border operations and corporate restructuring.
Provides support to entities in the financial sector, including insurance, and the real estate sector, where she had the chance to develop and adjust efficient VAT deduction methodologies and to optimise projects aimed at obtaining cash-flow gains.
Also responsible for work monitoring in the Transfer Pricing area and for clients in individual taxation, as well as by coordinating digitalization projects for the tax compliance function.
Prior to becoming a partner at FSO Consultores, she spent 9 years in the Tax Department of one of the "Big Four", where she began her career in Tax Consultancy, leading the Indirect Taxation specialization group, namely VAT, as Senior Manager. Also had contact with the Angolan reality, by monitoring issues related to taxation in that country.
She was a trainer of the VAT Module of the "Tax Management Program" 2017 and 2018 sponsored by Nova SBE (Nova School of Business & Economics).

- Degree in Business Management and Administration from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa de Lisboa.
- Post-graduate in "Financial Derivatives and Financial Innovation" at the Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences of the same University
