FSO Consultores has been invited to teach the Taxation module of the “Management of Insurance Companies” post-graduate course launched by Universidade Lusíada, for which registration is open until September 30th.
As stated by Nuno Oliveira Matos, who, together with Professor Álvaro Matias, Director of the Faculty of Economics and Business Sciences at Universidade Lusíada, is the scientific director of the course, the aim of the course is to “prepare the next generation of leaders in the insurance sector by providing complete and absolutely differentiated training”.
This postgraduate course offers immersion in advanced topics in management, finance, applied statistics, financial reporting (IFRS 17 and IFRS 9), insurance law, European and national regulation, taxation, among others. In addition, “this course goes beyond technical knowledge, sharpening students’ commercial instincts and preparing them to face and manage today’s complex insurance ecosystem”, as Nuno Matos points out.
Aimed at insurance professionals, graduates in related areas, auditors, analysts, consultants, entrepreneurs, innovators and IT professionals, the course also has renowned teachers such as Pedro Passos Coelho and Maria Luís Albuquerque. With 300 hours of after-work classes over two semesters, the postgraduate course does not require a thesis and includes an integrated assessment. Recognized by ASF and APS, it offers a 20% discount to employees of ASF and APS member companies.
